Hailey Welch, the viral sensation who surged to fame with her “Hawk Ruah” catchphrase, has vanished from public view following her cryptocurrency’s catastrophic failure. 

After becoming an internet sensation this summer and capitalizing on the fame by launching merchandise and a popular podcast, she tweeted on December 4 that she was launching $HAWK, a meme coin.

 

Her meme coin briefly reached a market capitalization of hundreds of millions before plummeting in value in minutes, leaving thousands of investors significantly out of pocket.

It emerged that few wallets owned the majority of $HAWK tokens, which was deemed a “pump and dump” scheme. 

The irate fans accused Welch and her crypto partners of taking advantage of their trust in her, saying that insiders benefited at the expense of regular investors.

The fallout intensified during a December 5 Spaces stream on X, during which the internet personality and her team faced heavy criticism.

Following the incident, Welch abruptly ended her involvement in the stream, ,aying, “Anywho, I’m going to bed,” leaving her fans stunned. 

Since then, she has not released a new “Talk Tuah” episode  or posted on her social media accounts.
